4- PACK Cosequin for Cats 80 Count (320 CAPSULES)

Comment: My two 16-year old cats have stiff joints. The vet recommended the Cosequin capsules. I sprinkle one capsule a day on their dry cat food. They do not seem to notice it. It really works. The cats move much more easily now. I also give them Nu-Cat vitamin pills, which makes their fur better.

Comment: These sellers "My Pet Health Supplies" took about a month to finally deliver the product I ordered, then made no effort to try to make amends when I requested they do so. In fact I am not sure I would have ever rec'd the product if I hadn't complained about it.

I ordered this product (cosequin for Cats) on Aug 18th. Four days later, Aug 22nd, I received notice that the order had been shipped, and I THOUGHT everything was going well for a timely delivery. 3 Days later no product. 7 days later no product.

Finally on Aug 30th, 12 days after the initial order, I wrote the seller "My Pet Health Supplies" and asked when the product would be shipped. It was only then that I was later informed, that the product was purportedly "damaged in shipping" and returned to the seller. "My Pet Health Supplies" made no effort to keep me appraised of this claim, which would certainly delay delivery of the product to me, if in fact the first shipment was ever sent.

Did they make any effort to speed up shipment by sending it overnite or express mail? NO! "My Pet Health Supplies" sent the then 14 day late shipment via the usual snail mail. It took about a month to finally receive the product. When the product did finally arrive I found that "My Pet Health Supplies" had crammed into a bubble packaged envelope, 4 boxes of foil and plastic shrink wrapped capsules, one of which boxes was damaged in shipment. No sturdy cardboard box or additional bubble wrap to protect the product. Small wonder it was "damaged in shipping", if, in fact, the first package was ever sent.

Meanwhile, I had to go into the veterinarian's office to buy another box of the specialty supplement, at twice the cost I can get it for from any number of vendors thru Amazon or other internet sellers, the reason I buy online in the first place. (It cost over $29.00 thru the vet., vs about $13.00 from my last Amazon vendor.)

I asked the seller to make me whole by shipping me a free box of the much delayed product. (A "free" box would almost equal appx. the EXTRA $16 dollar amount I had to pay the vet., over other internet vendor costs.) "My Pet Health Supplies" ignored at least 2 such requests. They never sent another box, never acknowledged my request for the same, nor made apologies for not delivering on time. Nothing

Do not buy from these sellers. There are many other sources.

I have NO COMPLAINTS about the product itself, only about the vendor, "My Pet Health Supplies", who made late delivery, didn't tell me it would be late until I complained, made no effort to speed up delivery of the then already delinquent product, then later refused to make it right with me after their failure to even TRY to deliver in a timely fashion causing me extra expenses and inconvenience because of their delays.

I can only apologize for my tardy review of this purchase to any others who may have since purchased from these vendors and received equally shoddy service.

Do not buy this product thru "My Pet Health Supplies". Poor packaging, late shipment, and no effort to make amends for their shortcomings. Find another source. You have been forewarned.

Comment: I have not noticed that it is helping my 15 year-old arthritic Persian. However, she likes it, and I imagine it does no harm - even if it doesnt seem to be dong obvious good, so we'll keep her on it. This is my second time buying the 4-pack of 80 capsules. We give her one capsule (maybe we should try 2? Not sure since she's a tiny 6.8 lb thing...) sprinkled over 2 tbsp wet food or tuna in the AM. I'm not sure what she likes about it. I tasted it and was not impressed. :D

Comment: Cosequin was first sold to me by our vet. When I ran out, I checked the Internet for availability and price. I was pleased to find this product at less than half the vet's price. Delivery is extremely fast and since it is so affordable, I can order a large quantity at once so I needn't order so often. Our cat, Jasmine, likes the taste and her limp is virtually gone from her right front shoulder arthritis. She is a member of our family and very important to us, but if I can find medicine for her at a lower price than the vet charges, we all win!

Comment: My older male cat had an old hip injury that started bothering him. He was gimping around and sat crooked. I started giving him Cosequin for Cats and he's much better. It's a daily thing in his food now.
