Health Extension is a high quality food that both of our dogs relish. It's a smallish kibble designed for teacup, toy and miniature dogs. The pieces are so small that they are actually tinier than the puppy food we still give Gabby.
I like that the first ingredient listed is organic chicken and the second is chicken meal.
In this product negatives are positives:
no byproducts
no rendered animal fats
no wheat, corn or soy
no artificial preservatives
no BHT or ethoxyquin
no added sugar
no artificial flavors, colors or dyes
Health Extension foods like this one are an oasis in a desert of lesser foods. Quality like this is worth the extra money.

I have two Chihuahuas and they absolutely love their little bites! The ingredients are the best quality available .. organic chicken, flax seed, nutra-drops, and TONS of vitamins and minerals! The best part about this food is that toy breeds can be on this from the time their little puppies til they're full grown- for life! Try finding another dog food that does that! This is a MUST if you have a toy breed dog. It helps balance their glycemic index even at the most stressful periods of time. Overall, it is just a really healthy food that will make your dog look and feel beautiful inside and out!

I have a 13 week old, 21 oz. tiny maltipoo. This food has been a lifesaver. I tried about 6 others (top quality, expensive kibble) but he would only eat 3 or 4 pieces. This kibble size is perfect for his tiny mouth. I have been softening it with water and adding tiny pieces of cooked chicken. I can get him to eat about a tablespoon of this mixture, 5 times a day. No more hypo attacks!
