Canned Rabbit Formula was a life saver for two of my dogs

Last summer 2 of my Papillons had apparently been tossed something poisonous over the fence and nearly died. Both required multiple blood plasma transfusions daily for a week and had lost so much weight as well as their appetite for food. Each day I came to the vet to offer them some of the Instinct Rabbit--and they happily ate even though they could barely hold their heads up for several days. Upon return to home care, they continued to thrive on the canned rabbit and ate heartily for weeks and finally put on a healthy weight and a normal appetite.

I will always keep canned rabbit in the house because of that experience.

The photograph is of the 12 oz can and you receive the 6 oz can. You have to look at the fine print to understand you are not receiving what is pictured. Amazon should not permit this. Otherwise the food is expensive but we have found it is one of the best products out there in terms of nutrition and apparently taste. Our dog in her old age has become more fussy and also apparently her teeth hurt some so we switched from dry to wet. We have never gone back- available in 5 different flavors. it is difficult to find- not in mainline pet stores. Easy to find on line.
