This review is from: Nutro Natural Choice Complete Care Indoor Senior Chicken and Lamb Formula Canned Cat Food (Misc.) My cat really loves this food, and he is a picky eater. I love the fact that it's quality food, natural and engineered for kitty health. Too many cat foods have ingredients which aren't good for them or too much on the corn products. I did a lot of research on the best foods, and this is in my top picks. We also tried Evo which I heard good things about, but he didn't like it as much and it made him smell not so good. This one is mild on his sensitive tummy, it help with the hairballs (he has medium-long hair), plus he loves it. Can't beat that :) This review is from: Nutro Natural Choice Complete Care Indoor Senior Chicken and Lamb Formula Canned Cat Food (Misc.) Upon opening the can, I was surprised to find whole peas and bits of red pepper mixed into the food. I'm sure this was intended to make it look "nutritious," but given that cats are obligate carnivores it doesn't make sense for there to be chunks of vegetables sitting in their food, and in fact I find it kind of disgusting. My cats agree with me on this point. They are normally wet food junkies, but with this stuff they just nibble at it and then wander off. I also had to laugh when I read that it is "formulated to reduce litter box and in-home odor." I would invite the people who "formulated" this food to come to my home a couple hours after my cats have eaten it and smell for themselves how well the formula is working. Add in the multiple recalls Nutro has had lately and I would strongly advise people to steer clear. I think I am going to be returning the rest of the case I bought. By This review is from: Nutro Natural Choice Complete Care Indoor Senior Chicken and Lamb Formula Canned Cat Food (Misc.) I have been using this product for several years and my 3 senior cats do very well with this as breakfast and the hard food for the rest of the day. My complaint is about Nutro raising the price at my local PetsSmart $.22 cents over the past couple of months. Now the Clarksville, TN PetsSmart has informed me that they will no long carry this product. I am currently on the hunt for a compatable Senior Indoor Soft Cat Food for my cats, I cannot by products from companies like this any longer.
