All I can tell you is the 4 bags we've bought have been fresh, and all the dogs and cats at our house and my brother's house love this food. Great for all small pets, easy to crunch and tasty(the dogs tell me).

The dogs loved the food, but the bag that I reciecved was only four days away from it's experation date, so I did not feed them much of it.

I agree with the previous comment. I was sold this product six days away from its expiration date. Food had a bad smell. Do not buy this. Go to any pet shop where you can see the expiration date yourself.
