Product Description
Science Diet Hairball Control is the first pet food designed to help reduce hairballs in cats. Hairball Control has natural vegetable fibers that help move hair safely and naturally through a cat's digestive system to help prevent hairballs from forming. Senior formula is higher in fiber and nutrient absorption to promote proper gastrointestinal tract function in older cats. In tests with consumers, cat owners report that their cats experienced fewer symptoms commonly associated with hairballs after four weeks of using the product. For maximum effectiveness, Science Diet Hairball Control Formula should be the cat's only food. Hairball Control Formula is preserved with BHA and BHT. Summary: No more kitty vomit... 2008-09-13
Comment: Okay, gross title, but that's what this product is about. My 8 year old American short hair tabby was licking herself bald from a nervous condition. And then every morning would eat and then regurgitate everything... several times... all over the house. My vet suggested Science Diet hairball and since then, kitty has stopped! We give her some every night and then first thing in the morning, just to make sure that her tummy doesn't get more upset. No more messes to clean up! Excellent product!

Summary: Great for hairballs 2006-01-21
Comment: This food is liked by the cats and does work. A new cat to our household was on this food. She came with a large bag. The old cat would sneak and eat a little now and then so I put her a bowl of her own out. She had a terrible problem with hairballs. No more! She is 18 years old and loves this food. She has lost weight and seems to be getting younger everyday.
