This is an excellent staple diet for small and medium hookbills. I've never met a bird who didn't like it (I've seen over a hundred birds eat this stuff with relish) and it has no sunflower seeds and a good mix of fruits and veggies. Supplementing with a fresh diet is always reccomended with any bird diet. But my bird eats this every day and even when I don't have time to give him fresh food, he does just fine with this alone. Plus, from this seller, shipping was lightning fast.
